In 1998, Michelle and Chris ventured out from Duncan, OK to Las Vegas, NV with a vision to build a community of faith. The Bennetts have a heart to bring the hope of Jesus to those who are unreached and broken. Michelle and Chris were called to a vision to plant new churches and catalyze new ideas for the purpose of reproducing as many disciples until Jesus returns. It’s that heart and vision that started New Community Church in a small apartment complex near the Strip. Since then, NCC has become a growing community with approximately 500 people with the purpose to be the life of Jesus to the world.






Senior Pastor Chris Bennett
Chris Bennett is Senior Pastor at New Community Church (NCC) in Las Vegas, Nevada. Chris attended Oklahoma Baptist University and started preaching at revivals and student conferences in 1993. He was ordained and licensed at Graceway Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, OK. Chris has been a youth pastor at First Baptist of Ninekah, OK as well as an associate pastor of Immanuel Baptist in Duncan, OK. His experiences range from recovery ministry to reconnecting broken families to presenting powerful and life changing messages. He is married to Michelle Bennett and has two sons, Samuel & Jonathan Bennett.

Children's Pastor Michelle Bennett
Michelle Bennett is Children Pastor at NCC. Michelle has a BA in Education and a Masters in Special Education from East Central University. She has invested 12 years in the educational field and has recently reentered the work force in the Clark County School District as Special Education teacher. Michelle also helps coordinate the worship team as well as participating vocally and on the piano. Her experiences range from team development to one on one counseling to planning outreach event for apartment ministries.
