Lynnie Clark- Pastoral Care

Lynnie Clark PhotoLynnie  Clark has been a part of the Pastoral team at NCC since 2001.  She came to know the Lord as an adult and has dedicated over 25 years to serving Him in full time ministry.  Her husband, Dominic, serves as an elder at NCC and is the prayer force behind her more public ministry. Lynnie has a BA from San Diego State University  and an MA from Logos Bible College.  She is passionate about people finding a sense of belonging in the body of Christ and becoming all that God created them to be.  She and Dominic have 2 grown daughters, as well as 2 wonderful grandchildren.







Gary Herndon- Connection Pastor

Gary Herndon PhotoGary has been as pastor at NCC since 2005. He received his B.A.  in Theologoy from Oral Roberts University after serving in the Navy for four years. He has a passion for serving and has served in lay ministry for 35 years doing everything from Sunday School Director to teacher to Small Group Director. Gary loves discipling people into a deeper relation with Christ. Gary’s approach to ministry is based on the truth that what we believe determines how we live.  When we grasp that, in every aspect of our lives, Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, we have power to live life to the fullest. When not serving at New Community Church, Gary “entertains” his wife, Linda, with blues riffs he is trying to learn on the guitar and takes on challenging hikes with his daughter Jeanette.



Joe & Shawna Kirsch- Youth Pastors

Joe & Shawna Kirsch PhotoJoe & Shawna Kirsch lead our Revolution Youth Group. The Kirsch's have worked in youth ministry for 18 years. (You could say they are passionate about youth!) Both graduated from Christ for the Nations in Dallas, TX in 1991. They minored in youth ministry. They have been married for 17 years and have three girls, ages 14,10, and 8. They are now a parent of a teenager and truly identify NOW in a personal way what teens struggle with in our culture and the challenges parent's face to raise them up to be Followers of Jesus. The Kirsch's deeply desire to help youth through these tough, tranformational years by discipling for Christ. Shawna loves to be creative and loves being a mom. Joe is what you would call a handy man... if it's broken, he wants to fix it.



Sambi Katano- Worship Director

Sambi Katano PhotoSambi Katano has led worship at NCC for 4 years. He brings enthusiasm and skill to table and challenges our teams to go to the next level of worship. Sambi has been involved in worship ministry in various churches since 1992. In 2008, Sambi married his beautiful British bride Helen, who is involved in prayer and recovery ministry. He has two sons and welcomed his first little girl in August. Sambi loves kids and occasionally reverts to being one around them.
